On Thursday, Tally Gotliv, a Knesset member for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, condemned the entry of humanitarian aid and food to Gaza, suggesting that Gazans should be "thirsted and starved," following similar comments invoking the desire to expel Palestinians from Gaza.
On Wednesday, citing Israeli news channel 12, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that Netanyahu said that a "scenario of surrender and deportation" of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip "is being considered."
This comes on top of repeated calls by right-win Israeli officials, including Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir and Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich, calling for the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and the re-occupation of the strip and the construction of Israeli settlements.
The most recent Nazi-type remarks from Israeli officials on their hopes to expel the Palestinians from their land garnered widespread condemnation.
On Wednesday, Egypt reiterated its rejection of any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians, urging serious efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state as per international resolutions.
President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi re-emphasized the nation's outright rejection of any attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause through the forced displacement of Palestinians during a meeting with a US Congress delegation in Cairo.
El-Sisi affirmed that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is the only way to foster regional stability, according to a statement released by the presidential spokesman after the meeting
Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman strongly condemned the remarks made by the right-wing Israeli ministers advocating for the displacement of Gaza residents, the re-occupation of the strip, and the construction of Israeli settlements.
The United States and the EU slammed comments by two extremist Israeli ministers who said Palestinians should be encouraged to "emigrate" from Gaza and called for Jewish settlers to return to the besieged territory,
Moshe Saada, another Knesset member for Netanyahu's Likud Party, has called on all Israelis to support the "destroy all Gazans" and end the "Palestinian matter."
"It is clear to everyone today that the right wing was right," Saada said in a news interview.
Saada said even those who have previously disagreed with him on political issues now agree that "it is clear that we need to destroy all Gazans."
