Activist Ahmad Salah informed WAFA that settlers, supported by Israeli forces, assaulted farmers as they were ploughing their lands in the Ain al-Qassis area, situated to the west of the town.

The settlers obstructed Palestinian agricultural activities, detained them, coerced them to vacate their land, and issued threats to prevent their return.

Salah further stated that the settlers, with the support of the Israeli army, are currently holding Raafat Muhammad Salah, 33, at the location.

Meanwhile, several Palestinians suffered from respiratory distress on Sunday evening during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the town.

According to local sources who spoke to WAFA, the clashes primarily occurred in the Al-Tall area within the Old City.

Israeli forces deployed tear gas and sound bombs toward Al-Khader Church and residential areas, leading to several individuals inhaling the toxic gas and experiencing suffocation as a result.
