Citing local sources, WAFA reported that at least 27 citizens were martyred and others were injured as a result of targeting the tents of displaced persons near the warehouses of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), northwest of Rafah.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its crews transported several martyrs and injured after the occupation targeted the tents of displaced persons in Rafah.
The massacre occurred hours after the Israeli Knesset approved the preliminary reading designating UNRWA as a "terrorist organization."
The Israeli occupation has continued its land, air, and sea aggression on the Gaza Strip since 7 October, killing at least 35,984 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuring 80,643 others, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
