Israel's occupation forces have arrested at least 20 Palestinians across the West Bank since Sunday evening, including former prisoners who had spent years in Israeli jails, according to a statement by the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society and Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

The statement added that the arrest toll in the West Bank since 7 October has reached over 9,000, encompassing all sectors of Palestinian society, in addition to the arrest of dozens of workers and thousands from Gaza.

The occupation forces demolished a two-storey home in the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, and started widespread demolition activities in the town of Anata to the northeast of Jerusalem, according to WAFA news agency.

Israeli forces have also stormed the village of Shaqba to the west of Ramallah and raided several neighbourhoods, according to the news agency.

The escalating arrest and demolition campaigns over the past eight months have been accompanied by extrajudicial executions, direct live fire before arrest, as well as brutal beatings, field interrogations that have affected hundreds, and the use of police dogs, read the statement.
