"The number of victims from the Israeli occupation's massacre in the Nuseirat camp has risen to 210 martyrs and more than 400 wounded," the office said in a statement.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said Saturday that the "resistance will continue" after the attack that killed dozens of Palestinians and wounded hundreds.

"Our people will not surrender, and the resistance will continue to defend our rights in the face of this criminal enemy," Haniyeh said in a statement.

Israel's war on Gaza has killed 36,801 Palestinians and wounded more than 80,000 others, mostly women and children, according to the health ministry.

Israel's siege has pushed the 2.4 million population to the brink of famine, with people in north Gaza already living under "famine-like conditions."
