Hamas reports detonating Israeli-occupied house in Rafah

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on Monday announced the detonation of a house where Israeli forces were entrenched in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

In a statement posted on its Telegram channel, the Al-Qassam Brigades said their fighters "were able to blow up a booby-trapped house with a force inside in the Al-Shaboura camp in Rafah, causing casualties among the forces."

The statement added that "upon the arrival of the rescue force, our fighters shelled the surroundings of the house that had been detonated with mortar shells."

Additionally, they confirmed “shelling enemy forces stationed south of the Tel Al-Sultan neighbourhood and around the Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah with mortar shells.”

Israeli media reported that dozens of Israeli helicopters continued extracting casualties among forces in Rafah.
