The vast majority of the besieged Gaza Strip's 2.4 million people have been displaced at least once by the Israeli war on Gaza since 7 October 2023, with many seeking shelter in school buildings.
"Al-Mufti school was bombarded with Israeli artillery, resulting in the death toll of 22 civilians, including 15 children, women and entire families, and 50 wounded," said Mahmud Bassal, spokesman for the agency.
This school shelters hundreds of displaced people from different families, including some from Gaza, the south, and various parts of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli war on Gaza has killed 42,226 and wounded more than 100,00-, most of them women and children.
Meanwhile, an Israeli offensive against northern Gaza in the past 10 days has killed more than 400 Palestinians.
