In Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, several civilians were injured in a new Israeli strike targeting the Kamal Adwan Children Hospital, where an airstrike reportedly hit a children’s dormitory on the third floor, medical sources said.
Another strike in Beit Lahia killed seven civilians when homes near the hospital belonging to the Foura and Aman families were struck.
The 5-week-old Israeli onslaught against Jabalia, Beit Lahia and other towns and refugee camps in northern has destroyed hundreds of residential units, killed hundreds of civilians - mostly women and children - as the Israeli army attempts to ethnically cleanse the north from its Palestinian population.
Israeli bombardment of Kamal Adwan and other hospitals in northern Gaza has left the wounded and ill without any access to life-saving treatments.
In southern Gaza, an Israeli Apache helicopter attack on Rafah killed two people and injured five, who were transported to the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis, WAFA news agency reported.
In central Gaza, three people were killed when Israeli drones bombed homes belonging to the Al-Nabahin and Qaddoha families in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp.
Israeli artillery and drone strikes in the vicinity of Karameesh Park, north of the camp, left several injured.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported evacuating 30 wounded and ill patients, along with 33 companions, from Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City in coordination with the World Health Organization.
Additionally, 14 patients were transferred from Al-Shifa Hospital to Nasser Medical Hospital in the south.
The Israeli genocidal war against Gaza has killed at least 43,374 people, most of them women and children, with more than 102,261 others injured since 7 October 2023.
Also on Monday, Israel said it terminated the agreement facilitating the work of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, the main aid provider in Gaza and millions of Palestinian refugees in the occupied West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan.
