Israeli authorities described Thursday's blasts in Bat Yam as a suspected attack but provided no evidence linking them to Palestinian groups.
Police said three devices detonated on buses, while two others were defused.
Netanyahu held a security assessment with senior officials and directed the military to launch new operations in the West Bank.
He also instructed Shin Bet and police to take "preventative" measures against further attacks.
Israeli occupation forces have intensified their crackdown in the West Bank since 21 January, just two days after a ceasefire deal with Hamas in Gaza.
They have targeted Jenin and Nablus, among other Palestinian cities, with airstrikes and raids.
Since the start of the Israeli West Bank assault, Israeli forces have detained about 380 Palestinians in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas governorates, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society.
Moreover, the assault has killed and wounded dozens, destroyed infrastructure, and displaced thousands of Palestinians, deepening the humanitarian crisis in the occupied territory.
In raids on Jenin and its adjacent refugee camp alone, Israeli forces killed at least 26 people and wounded dozens more, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Friday.
Additionally, Israeli forces have displaced over 40,000 people—90 percent of the Jenin refugee camp's residents—damaged 470 structures, and cut off water access for 35 percent of the population during 153 military raids on the camp, according to the Jenin Media Committee.
Dubbed "Iron Wall," Israeli attacks on north West Bank cities since the beginning of this year have killed at least 73 Palestinians, including 38 in Jenin, 15 in Tubas, seven in Nablus, eight in Tulkarm, three in Hebron, two in Bethlehem, and one in Jerusalem, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported last week.
Among the fatalities are 10 children, three women, and two elderly individuals.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, at least 887 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli military or settlers since the Israeli war on Gaza began on 7 October 2023.
