Israeli warplanes targeted a home and tents sheltering displaced people in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, during the night and into Sunday. The strikes killed 19 Palestinians and injured dozens more, reported WAFA news agency.

In Gaza City, Israeli airstrikes on the Shujaiya neighborhood killed three Palestinians, while Israeli quadcopter drones fired on the area, wounding several others, according to Al Jazeera.

Earlier, Israeli warplanes bombed a house near Ain Jalut School in the Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, killing two Palestinians.

Since Israel resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on 18 March, Israeli strikes have killed over 1,300 Palestinians and injured more than 3,000, per the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The total death toll from Israel's war on Gaza since 7 October 2023 has reached at least 50,669 Palestinians, with over 115,225 others injured.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to ongoing Israeli attacks.

Home demolitions in Rafah

Israeli air and artillery strikes continued overnight in Rafah, accompanied by heavy gunfire from advancing Israeli vehicles into the northern, eastern, and western parts of the city.

Al Jazeera, citing eyewitnesses, reported massive explosions caused by demolishing residential buildings in northern Rafah.

Al-Aqsa TV reported that Israeli tanks continued heavy fire in northern and eastern Rafah, where Israeli ground forces are advancing.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that the military is "dissecting" Gaza and "seizing territory."

He announced that Israel is establishing the Morag Corridor across Gaza, severing Rafah from the rest of Palestinian territory, and ordering the evacuation of Rafah.

An Israeli security forum revealed Tel Aviv’s plans to cantonize Gaza into "humanitarian islands" under Israeli control, fragmenting the strip and keeping it under Israeli occupation.

The Israeli Defense and Security Forum (IDSF) proposed creating "displaced persons’ cities" across Gaza. A "temporary" Israeli-linked body, controlled by Israel's National Security Council and funded by international governments, organizations, and private donors, would govern these cities. This plan would place Gaza under complete Israeli oversight, short of formal annexation.

Deliberate Starvation

UNICEF spokesperson Kazem Abu Khalaf announced on Sunday the closure of approximately 21 malnutrition treatment centers in Gaza due to Israel’s resumed aggression and recent evacuation orders for areas housing these centers.

Abu Khalaf stated that UNICEF awaits a report from the special body assessing food security in Gaza.

He emphasized that Israel's renewed blockade on Gaza — preventing the entry of humanitarian aid, medical supplies, nutritional supplements, and other essential materials — has been ongoing for 35 days.

The organization condemned the blockade as a violation of international humanitarian law, with catastrophic consequences for children.

Yesterday, UNICEF declared that Israel has denied more than one million children in Gaza life-saving assistance for over a month.

UNICEF confirmed that thousands of aid parcels are ready for delivery to Gaza and stressed that they must be allowed entry immediately.

Additionally, the organization reported that Gaza has run out of complementary food supplies for infants, and only enough ready-to-use milk remains to feed 400 children for a month.
