The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Israeli forces stormed Tammun shortly after midnight, surrounding a house on the eastern outskirts of the town following the infiltration of special units.
Clashes broke out in the area, it said.
The Israeli occupation forces fired several Energa shells at the besieged house, causing extensive damage, WAFA reported.
The Palestinian Civil Affairs Ministry said the army withheld the bodies of the two young men killed.
On Tuesday, a 20-year-old Palestinian, Saeed al-Nasan, was shot dead by settlers during an assault on the village of al-Mughayyer, northeast of Ramallah, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
At least four others were wounded in Israeli military raids in several West Bank towns and cities the same day.
Israeli occupation forces and settlers have killed at least 1,044 Palestinians in the West Bank and wounded around 10,000, while more than 19,000 have been arrested since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, according to official Palestinian figures.
The Israeli repression campaign in the occupied territories comes as Tel Aviv has taken increasing steps to build more settlements and isolate various Arab population centres as a prelude to annexing all or parts of the West Bank, despite regional and international condemnation.
