Earlier, the Israeli military said it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, after air-raid sirens sounded across several areas in Israel.
The military said the missile was intercepted by the air force shortly after launch.
Since Israel began its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, the Houthis have regularly launched missiles and drones toward Israel in solidarity with the Palestinians.
Last month, a drone attack by the Yemeni group managed to evade Israeli air defences and wounded 22 people in the southern city of Eilat (formerly Umm Al-Rashrash).
Israel has also carried out a series of airstrikes on Houthi-linked targets in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, which is under the group's control.
According to Houthi officials, the strikes killed at least nine people and wounded over 170 others.
