Israeli aerial and artillery bombardment has been ongoing since Sunday night in Khan Younis and Gaza City, killing and injuring several civilians.

Israel has killed 236 Palestinian civilians and injured 600 others, since the US-brokered ceasefire began on 10 October, at a time when the bodies of 502 slain Palestinians have been retrieved from the rubble.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that 10 Palestinians have been killed over the past 24 hours.

Among those killed were two new victims, while the bodies of eight others were recovered.

Dozens of victims remain trapped under the rubble and scattered on the streets, as rescue and civil defence teams continue to face significant challenges in reaching them.
