The OIC emphasized that these organizations play a vital and indispensable role in alleviating the humanitarian suffering in Gaza.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the OIC General Secretariat warned of the serious consequences of this arbitrary Israeli measure, which will significantly exacerbate the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

This crisis is already compounded by Israeli restrictions that prevent the delivery of sufficient humanitarian and medical aid to the Strip, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The OIC further noted that the occupation authorities' decision is illegal and constitutes a flagrant violation of the principles of international humanitarian law and the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, which obligates Israel to facilitate the work of international and humanitarian organizations and requires that humanitarian aid be allowed sufficient and unhindered access to the Gaza Strip.

The OIC General Secretariat stressed that the Israeli occupation authorities' decision is illegal and constitutes a flagrant violation of the principles of international humanitarian law and the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, which obligates Israel to facilitate the work of international and humanitarian organizations and requires that humanitarian aid be allowed sufficient and unhindered access to the Gaza Strip.

The General Secretariat also called on the international community to take the necessary measures and exert effective pressure on the occupying authorities to reverse this decision, and to ensure the protection of humanitarian workers and their freedom of action without restriction or condition throughout the Palestinian territory, especially in the Gaza Strip.
