Israeli strikes killed at least eight Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Sunday amid continued daily violations by Israeli occupation forces of the ceasefire agreement declared on 10 October 2025.

Five Palestinians were killed, and more than 15 were injured on Sunday in an Israeli strike on the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, where thousands of displaced people are sheltering in tent camps, a medical source in Gaza told the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

In Gaza City, the bodies of two Palestinians were brought to Al-Shifa Hospital after they were killed in an Israeli artillery strike that hit a house in the Zeitoun neighbourhood southeast of the city.

Separately, Al Jazeera reported, citing a medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, that 15-year-old fisherman Muhammad Musa Abu Ghiab was killed by Israeli naval fire targeting fishing boats off the coast of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.

The Israeli navy also surrounded two fishing boats in the area, detained four fishermen on board, and took them along with their equipment to an unknown location, while another fisherman was seriously wounded.

Since 7 October 2023, fishing across most of Gaza's coastal waters has become virtually impossible due to Israeli military restrictions and ongoing attacks, depriving thousands of fishermen and their families of their main source of income.

Israeli shelling and gunfire from military vehicles positioned north of Al-Bureij refugee camp and in the eastern areas of Khan Younis also continued, in addition to naval fire targeting Gaza City’s coastline.

According to local authorities, Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, ongoing since 2023, has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 173,000 others, the majority of them women and children. The war has also caused widespread destruction, damaging around 90 percent of the territory’s infrastructure.

Despite the ceasefire agreement, Israeli attacks have continued, killing 951 Palestinians and injuring 2,984 others since October 2025, according to Palestinian sources, amid a blockade that continues to restrict the entry of essential aid to more than two million people living in catastrophic conditions.

On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces killed nine Palestinians and wounded 15 others, including a bridegroom, women, and children, in separate strikes in Gaza .
