According to Al-Aqsa TV, eyewitnesses reported that Israeli occupation forces targeted a tent housing displaced families with two missiles on Roni Street in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
The strike killed Islam Hassan Abu Shamala, 15, and her 30-year-old brother, Abdullah, and the wounded and immediately evacuated to Nasser Hospital for treatment.
Islam was the second teenage girl to be killed by the Israeli occupation forces in the lasdt several days.

In an official statement, the Gaza Ministry of Interior condemned the targeting of law enforcement personnel, calling it a deliberate attempt to sow chaos within the strip. The ministry urged the international community and ceasefire guarantors to pressure Israel to halt these strikes, emphasizing that the police force is protected under international law as a civil defence body.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Israeli occupation forces have kiiled at least 1,031 Palestinians and injured 3,309 others in Gaza since ceasefire agreement between Tel Aviv and Hamas o end the Israeli genocidal war on the strip went into effect on 11 October.
Last week, UNICEF said at least 265 Palestinian children had been killed in Gaza since a ceasefire was announced in October 2025, at the rate of one child a day, describing the truce as a "cruel and deadly illusion" for children living in the territory.
Also last week, another independent UN commission concluded that Israel has been committing genocide against Palestinian children in Gaza, documenting a systematic campaign of killing, torture, starvation, and sexual violence that a doctor said had destroyed "the essence of childhood."
Israel has killed over 73,000 Palestinians and woudned at least 173,000 others since it launched its genocidal war on the strip in October 2023, which has also devastated an estimated 90 percent of the territory's civilian infrastructure.

He noted that a joint delegation from Hamas and other Palestinian factions will visit Cairo in the coming days to deliver their formal response to the proposed approaches.
Qassem clarified that Hamas seeks to "obligate Israel to implement what was agreed upon in the first phase of the agreement" before transitioning to the second phase, particularly regarding the formation of a Palestinian national committee to manage the strip, the entry of international forces, and the status of the Palestinian weapons issue.
In mid-January, the United States announced the activation of Phase 2 of its proposed peace plan, which outlines a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, the disarmament of Hamas, the initiation of reconstruction, and the establishment of a transitional governing body.
However, Phase 2 has hit several obstacles, most notably repeated Israeli attacks on the strip and the occupation army's expansion of its areas of control inside Gaza, which constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement signed last October under the mediation of Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the United States.
Furthermore, the outbreak of the US-Israeli war on Iran heavily diverted international focus from implementing the Gaza peace accord, announced by US President Donald Trump in September 2025.
Despite a subsequent memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Washington and Tehran to halt hostilities across all fronts, Israel has maintained that it will not withdraw from occupied positions in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.
On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his military currently controls roughly 70 percent of the Gaza Strip, confirming an ongoing expansion of occupied territories despite the existing ceasefire deal.
According to data analyzed by the Anadolu Agency, this translates to the occupation of approximately 255 square kilometres of Gaza's total 365-square-kilometre area.
