The convoy carried food parcels, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, and fuel to help keep hospitals and other essential facilities operating, according to the ERC, the national body coordinating aid deliveries to Gaza.
The dispatch comes as part of Egypt's continued humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza amid the ongoing Israeli attacks.
Since October 2023, Egypt has delivered more than one million tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza, representing around 70 percent of all assistance sent to the strip.
According to ERC Executive Director Amal Imam, Egypt's humanitarian response has continued for more than 900 days since the start of the war, with the support of nearly 75,000 ERC volunteers.
Meanwhile, Israel has continued its strikes on the strip despite a ceasefire deal signed in October 2025.
According to Palestinian health authorities, Israeli military operations in Gaza have killed more than 73,000 people and wounded over 173,000 others, most of them women and children, since the outbreak of the Israeli genocidal war on the strip.
The Israeli assaults have also damaged hospitals, health facilities, and other critical infrastructure, destroyed around 70 percent of Gaza's homes, and displaced more than two million people.
International aid agencies have repeatedly warned that children in Gaza have borne a disproportionate share of the consequences of the Israeli war through death, injury, displacement, malnutrition, and interruptions to education and healthcare.
