The convoy comprises several trucks carrying food, medical supplies, fuel, and other relief assistance for the Palestinian people, according to the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC), the national body responsible for coordinating aid deliveries to Gaza.
The ERC said the shipment also includes over 1,900 tons of food parcels and flour, 350 tons of medical supplies, medicines, and other relief materials, in addition to 1,250 tons of fuel to help keep hospitals and other essential facilities operating in the strip.
The dispatch reflects Cairo's continued efforts to support the Palestinian people amid Israel's ongoing attacks.
Since the start of the war, Egypt has sent over one million tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza, accounting for nearly 70 percent of all assistance delivered to the territory.
Egypt's relief operations have continued for more than 900 days since the outbreak of the war, with the participation of nearly 75,000 ERC volunteers.
Meanwhile, Israel has continued its military operations in Gaza despite the ceasefire agreement signed in October 2025.
Since October 2023, the Israeli genocidal war has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 173,000 others, most of them women and children.
More than 21 months of Israeli assaults have severely damaged Gaza's civilian infrastructure, including hospitals and healthcare facilities, destroyed around 70 percent of residential buildings, and displaced more than two million people.
