According to the ERC, the national coordination body for aid delivery to Gaza, the aid convoy comprised several trucks loaded with over 58,000 food parcels, 187 tons of flour, 771 tons of medicines, medical supplies, and relief materials, in addition to 1,362 tons of fuel to keep hospitals and vital facilities operating in Gaza.

The ERC has also continued providing humanitarian services at the Rafah border crossing, receiving the 74th batch of Palestinian patients and wounded, arriving for medical treatment, while also bidding farewell to patients who had completed their treatment.

The ERC teams accompanied the Palestinians at every stage of the crossing process through personnel stationed at the humanitarian service centres in the arrivals and departures halls at the Rafah crossing, ensuring they received the necessary support from the moment they arrived until their departure.

The ERC further provided a comprehensive package of humanitarian assistance, including psychological support—particularly for children—family reunification services, meals and beverages, clothing, and personal hygiene supplies to help meet the essential needs of the wounded, patients, and their companions.

The ERC has maintained its presence at the Rafah crossing since the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza in October 2023, operating around the clock under a heightened state of readiness to provide humanitarian relief and assistance to Palestinians amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The ERC’s efforts are carried out in cooperation and coordination with the Egyptian Ministries of Health and Population and Social Solidarity.

The Egyptian support comes as part of Cairo’s unwavering commitment to alleviating the suffering of Gaza's residents amidst Israel’s three-year genocidal war, which has killed 73,388 Palestinians and injured 174,259 others, mostly women and children.

Since October 2023, Egypt, aided by 75,000 ERC volunteers, has delivered more than one million tons of assistance to Gaza, representing over 70 percent of all aid sent to the strip.

Additionally, Egypt, alongside Qatar, Turkey, and the US, has exerted intensive diplomatic efforts to mediate and consolidate the Gaza ceasefire deal, signed during the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit for Peace in October 2025.
