Dala was the star of the show, contributing to all three goals directly contributing to all three goals and netting twice himself. It was his second Man of the Match award in the tournament, underlining his importance to the team.

"We had a good performance today," Dala told reporters after the game. "The team deserved this qualification and I’m very happy we made it happen. I will say the commitment and the involvement of all the players helped me in winning this man of the match award.”

Dala's double took his tournament tally to four goals, just one behind Equatorial Guinea's Emilio Nsue in the race for the Golden Boot.

“Scoring goals here is making me happy and I would love to continue scoring and getting victories as well,” he added.

Angola will now face the winner between Nigeria and Cameroon.
