Ahmed Elmohamady has been included in Hull City's starting XI at Slovakia's AS Trencin in the Tigers' maiden Europa League appearance.

Hull, who impressively booked a Europa League berth after finishing runners-up to FA Cup champions Arsenal last season, visit Trencin in the third qualifying round first leg of Europe's second competition.

The game marks Elmohamady's first-ever continental appearance in Europe since kicking off his overseas adventure after joining Sunderland from ENPPI in 2010.

The away match is also manager Steve Bruce's 100th game in charge of the club as the ex-Manchester United defender targets a place in the competition's group stage.

The return leg against Trencin, who only sealed top-flight promotion in the Slovakian league three years ago, takes place at the KC stadium next week.
