Ahly defender Rami Rabia is finalising his travel procedures ahead of his move to Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
According to the Cairo-based club's official website, the 21-year-old will be medically examined next week in Portugal by his new club before the official deal is announced.
"Penning Rabia's contracts will be within the upcoming hours. Ahly will be receiving 750 thousand euros plus 15 percent of the player's future possible transfer to any other club," Ahly Football Sector manager said.
The African champions had initially set a 1.5 million euro price tag on Rabia's head, but the Portuguese league runners-up instead presented a 550,000 euro offer to be paid in instalments.
Earlier this week, some local reports suggested that there were complications in the transfer but the club rubbished them all with today's statement.
