Coton Sport lost their first place spot in group A after their 1-1 draw against Malian side Real Bamako on Sunday.
Despite Sunday's draw, the Cameroonian side, now in second place, still secured a place in the Confederation Cup semis.
They will face Egyptian giants Ahly in the semis on 20 September in Garoua, while the second leg will take place in Cairo on 27 September.
In the same group, Congolese side Leopards thrashed ASEC 4-1 on Sunday to clinch first place in the group at the expense of Coton Sport.
Leopards will take on Group B's second-placed Sewe Sports of Ivory Coast in the semis.
