Pharaohs' coach Shawqy Gharib voiced confidence regarding their upcoming clash against Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier set to be played on 15 November, adding his side is used to play against the country's top flight.
Egypt have revived their hopes in the African qualifiers after defeating Botswana 2-0 on Wednesday.
The Pharaohs are third in their Group G with six points, just one point behind second-placed Senegal who were stunned by group's leader Tunisia on Wednesday.
The first two teams in each group will qualify for the next year's Africa Cup Nations which will take place in Morocco.
"Our mission against Senegal will be very tough, but we are used to play against the continent's top flights," the Pharaohs' coach said in a TV program on Thursday.
"We kept our hopes alive in the qualifiers after our bad start against Senegal and Tunisia."
After their absence from the two last editions, the Pharaohs will have no choice but to win against Senegal to keep their hopes alive in the African qualifiers.
