Manchester United loanee Javier Hernandez 'Chicharito' voiced his frustration at the lack of first-team football at Real Madrid after joining the side on loan last summer.

Having only managed approximately 590 minutes for Real, Chicharito labeled his situation at Madrid as 'frustrating' – saying that he has been doing his best at training to gain more playing time with the European champions.

"My situation is frustrating. I participate, give my all in training, but as far as for playing in matches, the opportunities are minimal," the 26-year-old Mexico striker told Fox Sports.

"I belong to a team, but am not part of the important bit, the actual games.

"Sometimes my confidence is right down on the ground, even though I am trying for it to be up there, with the help of the people who are always at my side and who support me."

Despite his lack of first-team opportunities, which saw him start only a single match, Chicharito managed to find the net for Carlo Ancelotti's side – scoring three goals and assisting another in 13 league appearances.

On the international front, he bagged Mexico's winner in the recent 1-0 friendly win over Ecuador in Los Angeles just a few days ago.

It appears unlikely that Chicharito will make his loan move permanent to Real at the end of the season, as it remains to be seen whether he will return to his parent club United, to whom he is tied down till 2016, or seal a move away from Old Trafford next summer.
