Egypt is set to start their preparations for next month's clash against Chad in the Nations Cup qualifiers on 24 August, the team's director Alaa Abdel-Aziz announced on Monday.
Chad will host Egypt on 6 September as the Pharaohs will be looking to maintain their winning run in the Nations Cup qualifiers.
Egypt launched their campaign in the African qualifiers with a 3-0 win over Tanzania in Group's G opener in June.
The win saw them share the group summit with Nigeria who defeated Chad 2-0 in the same round in Lagos.
Abdel-Aziz added that coach Hector Cuper will announce his squad for Chad's game on 22 August.
The seven-time African champions are looking to return to the African scene after missing the past three editions of the continental tournament.
