Egyptian striker Ahmed "Kouka" Hassan opened his scoring account with Braga this season in their 1-0 victory over Dutch side FC Groningen in a Europa League group stage match on Thursday.

The international striker, who made his first start with Braga this season, received the ball inside the area, before making a sublime dummy as he struck home with his left foot.

This marks a great come-back for the 22-year-old, who was sidelined for around one month due to injury.

Kouka had only featured once for Braga when he came in as a second half substitute against Boavista in August.

Kouka joined Braga from Rio Ave this summer after his impressive run last season, having scored 12 goals in 22 appearances.

He was close to joining Portugal giants Benfica in the summer, but the deal reportedly fell through after he failed a medical test at the club.

Kouka had scored a goal with Rio Avec before joining Braga.
