Zamalek have agreed to play a friendly with Borussia Dortmund on 9 January after accepting an offer from a marketing agency to stage the exhibition game in Dubai.
Dortmund, who are currently second in the Bundesliga behind champions Bayern Munich, had announced in November that they will be holding their winter training camp in Dubai next month.
The Whites’ management has agreed to face the 2013 UEFA Champions League finalists even though the Egyptian league will not be suspended until the beginning of February.
Egyptian league and cup champions Zamalek will be facing Dakhleya on 6 January before hosting ENPPI the 13th of next month.
The Cairo giants are currently in fourth place in the Egyptian league standings with 13 points, five adrift of leaders Maqassa who played three more games.
