Goalkeeper Shrief Ekramy (Bassam El-Zoghbi)
Ahly's goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy is fit for his side's game against Dakhleya in the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday after recovering from an injury that sidelined him from Egypt's national team trip to Tanzania in the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
"Ekramy returned to trainings in the past few days, but he is waiting for the coach's decision to include him in the squad for Dakhleya game," Ahly's doctor Tarek Soliman was quoted as saying on the club's official website on Monday.
Ahly's first choice goalkeeper missed the national team's 2-0 win over Tanzania in the final round of the 2017 AFCON as veteran goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary replaced him.
Meanwhile, Ahly's key defender Ahmed Hegazy is still doubtful for Thursday's league game as he hasn't yet recovered from a hamstring injury that sidelined him from Egypt national team encounter last Saturday.
"Hegazy will undergo medical tests on Tuesday to determine their situation for the game against Dakhleya," read a statement on the club's official website.
Ahly are leading the Egyptian Premier League leadership table with 68 points, five places ahead of second placed rivals Zamalek.
