Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry has blamed his international players' fatigue for a goalless draw with Ismaily in the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday.

"The team was affected by the international players' fatigue during the draw with Ismaily," El-Badry was quoted as saying on the club's official website on Wednesday.

"I warned that the Ahly and Egypt national team players will continue to suffer from fatigue for two months," he added.

League leaders Ahly failed to make the most of a late surge in a largely insipid Egyptian league game, playing out a goalless draw with bitter foes Ismaily at Suez's Army Stadium on Wednesday.

"We dominated play during the game, creating more score chances," El-Badry said.

"I bear full responsibility for not including the newly-signed players in the games' starting lineups, as we have more games coming in the domestic league and the CAF Champions League games," the Ahly coach concluded.

Ahly remain in charge of the table with 46 points, five ahead of second-placed Maqassa and 12 ahead of Zamalek who have played three games fewer than they.
