"We discussed the issue yesterday during our executive committee," IHF media director Mona Orban told Reuters. "We have nothing to hide and we fully support the police in this investigation."
German prosecutors last week launched an investigation into IHF president Hassan Moustafa over the awarding of television rights with Swiss authorities searching the sport's head offices in Switzerland and the Egyptian's penthouse.
Authorities are looking into payments allegedly made to Moustafa by a sports marketing firm in 2007 after having been awarded the marketing of TV rights for 2006-09.
It also looked at the contract awarding process for the rights between 2009-2013.
"The main concern of the police were the documents related to the awarding of the TV rights to UFA (sports marketing firm)," the IHF said in a statement later on Friday.
"The office supported the police officers to get all the information required in hard and soft copies."
"The TV contract was concluded through a transparent tender process where several offers were presented in sealed envelopes addressed to the IHF marketing company and collected by the IHF marketing employees."
Germany-based UFA is responsible for the worldwide marketing of media rights for the sport until 2013.
