Egypt were handed a major boost ahead of Sunday's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tunisia as key playmaker Abdallah El-Said has been declared fit to take part in the game.
The 31-year old sustained an injury during his club Ahly's victory over CotonSport in the CAF Champions League last month but was included in the Pharaohs' squad for the qualifying opener away from home.
He reportedly complained from a muscle pain on Thursday and was deemed doubtful for the Tunisia clash.
"Abdallah El-Said is now fit for the game. He suffered from fatigue due to the busy schedule but we managed to rehabilitate him," coach Hector Cuper said at the press conference on Saturday.
El-Said is an instrumental player for Egypt as he orchestrates the team's play and is seen as the only number 10 in Egyptian football.
The seven-time African Champions will be missing midfield workhorse Mahmoud "Trezeguet" Hassan because of injury.
