Ahly coach Patrice Carteron announced that his team is ready to face any team in the CAF Champions League quarterfinals, confirming that he is working to snatch the title.
"We respect all the opponents in the tournament and we have a clear target to achieve, we have to win the CAF Champions League title this season," Carteron was quoted as saying on Ahly's official website.
"All the games we play are difficult, but all the players are doing their best to win the Champions League trophy to please our supporters,"
"We know our opponents well from the quarterfinal games and the players have been well-prepared for any game," he added.
The eight-time African champions booked their place in the CAF Champions League quarterfinals after topping Group A with 13 points, two ahead of second place Esperance de Tunis. The quarter-finals draw will be held in Cairo on Monday.
