Ahly’s current caretaker coach Mohamed Youssef has praised the performance of his squad in the Egyptian league after they were able to secure four straight wins in the competition.

The Cairo giants will be hoping for the fifth win in a row when they face off against Dakhleya at Petro Sport on Saturday in a rearranged game from the league’s game week six.

Youssef is looking forward to winning the rest of the rearranged games in order to advance in the Egyptian league table.

Ahly had a number of their league matches postponed because of their participation in the CAF Champions League, as a result, the team now faces a heavy fixture congestion in December.

The club announced this month the appointment of Uruguayan tactician Martin Lasarte who will watch the Dakhleya game from the stands and will start his duties with the team right after.

Ahly are currently seventh in the Egyptian league table with 23 points from 11 games, 12 points adrift of leaders Zamalek, who have played three more games.
