Tottenham's Wanyama leads Kenya squad for Egypt clash in 2021 AFCON qualifiers

Kenya are competing in Group G of the qualifiers alongside Egypt, Togo and Comoros

The Kenya senior national football team has announced the final squad that will face Egypt and Togo in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in November.

Harambee Stars will start their 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers campaign when they face Egypt on 14 November in Cairo, five days before playing Togo at the MISC Kasarani.

Kenya are competing in Group G of the qualifiers alongside Egypt, Togo and Comoros.

Veteran goalkeeper Patrick Matasi has been handed a recall after he was dropped from the squad during the 1-0 loss to Mozambique in a friendly last month.

Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama and striker Michael Olunga, who plays for Kashiwa Reysol of Japan, have been also been handed a call up for the games.

Kenya will start a training camp on Tuesday in Nairobi within preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
