Zamalek said on Wednesday that midfielder Ferjani Sassi suffers a minor muscle injury and that he will be available for the team during the coming period.
Sassi sustained a groin injury in Tunisia's 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea in the 2021 Nations Cup qualifiers on Tuesday, limping off in the 60th minute.
"Sassi suffers a minor strain in his groin," Zamalek football director Amir Mansour told reporters.
"I called the player and he confirmed that his injury is minor. He will be available for playing with the team in the coming period."
Zamalek will face Enppi on Monday in the domestic league. Sassi will miss Enppi's clash as he serves a one-match ban after being sent-off in Zamalek's previous game against Arab Contactors.
Sassi made five appearances with Zamalek this season, scoring once.
The White Knights are second in the league table with ten points, just one behind leaders Pyramids FC who played two games more.
