Aston Villa's Egyptian winger Mahoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan said on Thursday he is looking for more success with Aston Villa, adding that he rejected three transfer offers from topflight Turkish sides to realise his dream of playing in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old completed his move to Aston Villa from Turkish Kasimpasa last summer, while many reports linked him with a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

"Playing at the Premier League was a dream that has come true," Trezeguet told BeIN on Thursday.

"Since my departure from Egypt my dream was to play in the Premier League. Galatasaray were  not the only side that contacted me. I turned down two transfer offers from another two big Turkish clubs."

Despite a slow start with Villa, Trezeguet gained the confidence of coach Dean Smith and reserved a place with the team's starting 11 as he made 24 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

"I like playing in the Premier League. The competition is very tough and needs maximum concentration from all players."

"My goal is to realise more success with Aston Villa and to keep my place with the team."
