Galatasaray's Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed netted twice in his side's 4-1 win over Denizlispor in a league game on Tuesday, taking his tally to eight goals since joining the Turkish giants last January.

The Egyptian striker started on the bench after sustaining an ankle injury in his side previous game against Besiktas, last Saturday.

It was initially feared that he might be out for several weeks but he made a quick recovery and was included in the squad for the game.

He was introduced in the 58th minute while his side were leading 2-1 to add two successive goals in three minutes.

The 23-year-old converted a penalty in the 86th minute before adding his side's fourth goal, three minutes later.

With one match remaining in the Turkish league Galatasaray are second in table with 81 points just like Besiktas who have a better goal difference.

Galatasaray will host Yeni Malatyaspor on Saturday while Besiktas will visit Goztepe in the same day.
