Zamalek have turned the loan of Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri from Arab Contractors into a permanent move, handing him a three-year contract until 2024.
The 28-year-old forward joined Zamalek on loan in January and had a sell-on clause in his contract, which has been invoked by Zamalek, according to a statement by the club on Thursday.
Jaziri did not make an immediate impact at Zamalek as he had been cup-tied in the African Champions League, after playing earlier in the Confederation Cup with Arab Contractors.
Former coach Jaime Pacheco and Patrice Carteron relied more on Moroccan forward Hamid Ahadad and Marwan Hamdi to spearhead the attack.
But after Zamalek were eliminated from the African Champions League, Jaziri turned his fortune around and broke into Carteron's starting 11. He showed great positioning, pace and shooting skills.
Since he joined the White Knights, he scored two goals and provided two assists after playing 16 matches in the Egyptian Premier League and the Egypt Cup.
