Ahly winger Ahmed Sedik, forward Oussou Konan and Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet" have been included in the team's African squad before facing DR Congo’s TP Mazembe in the group stage of the CAF Champions League on 8 July.
"Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry named Seddiq, Konan and Trezeguet to be included in the team's African squad that will be registered next Monday," read a statement on the club's official website on Friday.
"Ahly still have a place in the African players list that will be saved for the new signings," the statement added.
The 52-year-old Ahly's coach refused to rest his team players after finalising their preparatory camp in Turkey choosing to start the team's training sessions on Saturday.
The Cairo giants prepared for the group stage of the CAF Champions League that kicks off with a match against DR Congo’s TP Mazembe on 8 July.
The winners of six titles are drawn in Group B with archrivals Zamalek and Ghana’s Chelsea.
