The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has agreed to delay the game after receiving a formal request from Zamalek’s management due to the ongoing demonstrations and turmoil in Egypt.

The Egyptian League leaders were scheduled to meet Kenyan team Ulinzi Stars in the second leg of the African champions league preliminary round.

Earlier this week, Libyan and Sudanese Football Associations offered to host Zamalek’s game against Stars.

Zamalek defeated the Kenyan side 4-0 in the first leg and closed the gap to book a place in the African Champions League round of 32.
