Egypt's Ahly are currently thinking about taking part in a friendly tournament, along with Italian giants Juventus and Kuwaiti side Al Kuwait, next January.

"We received an offer to face Italian side Juventus and Al Kuwait in a friendly game," Ahly manager Hady Khashaba was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

"The friendly, which will be played in Kuwait next January, will be divided into three halves to allow each team to play against the other," he added.

"We're currently awaiting a decision from the team's technical staff, since it largely depends on their agenda," Khashaba concluded.

Egyptian giants Ahly played their last European friendly in January when they lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich.

The six-time African champions are currently preparing to take on Nigerian side Sunshine Stars in the semifinals of the CAF Champions League on 6 October.
