AC Milan's Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari said on Wednesday he cannot wait to regain full fitness as he aims to help AC Milan recover from a poor start to the Italian Serie A.
The 28-year-old, who joined the Rossoneri last January, has been sidelined since June after undergoing a Knee surgery to repair a damaged ligament.
"I’m working hard to return as soon as possible," Muntari told Milan Channel on Wednesday.
"I can’t wait to return. I want to give my contribution to the team."
Milan have made a poor start to the season as they lost four of their first seven games in Serie A.
"I have faith in my teammates,” he added. “I’m certain that we’ll be able to do well again in the very near future."
"We’ll get to where we want to. Milan are a great side that has to aim for the highest objectives. The current League table lies."
