Smouha have agreed to offload their Ghanaian striker Samuel Affum to Swiss Super League side Young Boys for $ 1.5 million next January, Ghanasoccernet.com reports.

Young Boys coach Martin Rueda asked the club's management to sign Afum to replace striker Emmanuel Mayuka who joined English side Southampton last August.

Alexandria-based Smouha rejected a $1.5 million offer from Ahly to sign Affum in June as well as rejecting a loan offer from Korean K-league side Daegu.

Affum still has two years left on his contract with Smouha.

The 23-year-old striker Affum was Smouha’s top scorer with eight goals before the cancellation of the Egyptian Premier League in February due to the Port Said massacre.
