Egypt assistant coach Zaki Abdel-Fattah has denied that coach Bob Bradley is set to leave the country amid the growing political turmoil.
Abdel-Fattah told Al-Ahram Sports that the American tactician will remain in Cairo and that he has not received any advice from the US embassy to return home.
Rumours have been circulating recently that Bradley will return to the US, especially after the US issued a travel ban on Egypt and reduced its official presence in Cairo following the killing of an American student in Alexandria on Friday.
He added that the head coach is working on his preparation programme for Egypt's last game in the World Cup qualifiers against Guinea in September but he is waiting for the Egyptian Football Association to decide on the league's fate given the political circumstances.
