Zamalek defender Hani Said stressed that his team must beat South African rivals Orlando Pirates on 1 September to put the team back on track in the African Champions League, after a disastrous start to the campaign at group stage.

"We don't have options. We will play this game with a single objective in mind -- victory," Said told the club's official website. 

"We must clinch the three points to keep our chances alive and stay on course for a place in the semi-finals," he added. 

The five-time African champions have dropped to the bottom of Group A with just a single point after three games. 

They are hoping for a miraculous recovery in order to finish among the top two teams of the group. 

Their fight will start against leaders the Orlando Pirates, who have accumulated seven points, on Sunday 1 September in Gouna stadium.

"The return of Mahmoud Fathallah and Ahmed Gaafar [both had been suspended] will give us a big boost especially as we will need their experience," Said concluded.

Coach Helmi Toulan will also have at his disposal midfielder Nour El-Sayed and defender Salah Soliman who have recovered from minor injuries and will be ready for the game.
