Raja Casablanca goalkeeper Khaled Askri has expressed his pleasure at beating CONCACAF champions Monterrey 2-1 in extra time to reach the Club World Cup semifinals and face South American champions Atletico Mineiro.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper was awarded best player of the game during the 2-1 win over Monterrey Saturday.
Moroccan side Raja Casablanca will face Atletico Mineiro, featuring former AC Milan and Barcelona forward Ronaldinho, in the last four in Marrakech Wednesday.
"I achieved my dream of playing against Ronaldinho by qualifying for the tournament semifinals," Askri told reporters after the game.
"I admire Ronaldinho and I have followed him throughout his career," the goalkeeper added.
