Ismaily fail to close gap with Group B leaders Petrojet following a 1-1 draw wity Minya in the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday

Ismaily extended their winless run to four matches after being held to a 1-1 draw by minnows Minya in the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday.

Minya midfielder Amr Ossman gave his side the lead in the 20th minute but John Antwi scored the equaliser 23 minutes after the break.

It is the sixth goal for the Ghanaian striker this season.

Ismaily, who have failed to claim any win since their 2-0 victory over Masry last month, remain second in Group B with 16 points, four behind leaders Petrojet, while Minya lie at the bottom with five points.

Earlier in the day, Haras Al-Hodoud defeated Talae El-Gaish 1-0 thanks, thanks to a 64th-minute winner from experienced midfielder Mohamed Halim.
