Cairo giants Ahly have officialy announced the signing of Belgian side Lierse's defender Louay Wael 'Luca' on a five year-contract.

"The signing of Wael comes amid our reinforcement plan ahead of the new season," Ahly said in a statement on its official website on Tuesday, without disclosing the financial details.

Wael, who came through Ahly's youth ranks, is the Red Devils' fifth new summer signing after they also managed to sign Hossam Ghaly, Salah El-din, Eslam Roshdy and Huessin El-Sayed.

Luca made only two appearances with Lierse during the 2013/2014 season.
