Striker Ahmed Gaafar has joined ENPPI on a free transfer from Zamalek.

Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that Gaafar had signed a three-year contract extension with Zamalek after agreeing to waive some money owed to him by the club.

Few hours later, however, Gaafar was released by the Cairo giants after settling his financial issues.

On Tuesday night, Gaafar signed a four-year contract with petroleum club ENPPI.

The 28-year-old attacker joined Zamalek in the summer of 2009 and performed well over the last four years to establish himself as one of the team's key elements.
